This work includes in particular: Repair of piping and accessories; Replacement of the pumping station manhole head with a new concrete head; Complete replacement of hatches, railings, lifting systems; Related works in civil engineering, electricity, instrumentation/control. The Municipality incurs no responsibility for the fact that the written opinions or any documents conveyed by electronic system are incomplete or contain any error or omission whatsoever. Consequently, any tenderer must make sure, before presenting his tender, to obtain all the documents related to this call for tenders. Only persons, companies and corporations, having their principal place of business in Quebec or having an establishment in a province or territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement on the liberalization of markets applicable to the owner, who hold an appropriate license under the Act on the professional qualification of building contractors are eligible to tender. The tender must be accompanied by a tender guarantee of an amount equivalent to 10% of the total amount (all taxes included) of the tender. The Municipality does not undertake to accept the lowest or any of the tenders and declines all responsibility with regard to one or the other of the tenderers in the event of rejection of all the tenders. The contract is awarded by decision of the council of the Municipality, at its sole discretion, and the Municipality cannot be bound in any way other than by a resolution of its council.
