Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cheney, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of the removal replacement of three (3) water-cooled chillers and two (2) open type cooling towers, at the EWU Rozell Central Energy Plant. Including, but not limited to, the demolition & removal of the existing chillers and cooling towers, installation of the new, larger capacity, chillers and cooling towers, and modification and additions to the existing, chiller plant piping systems, as well all associated power and controls. The project includes the replacement of the main electrical switchboard and power services associated with the replacement equipment. also includes other miscellaneous and incidental mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural and roofing work associated with the chiller and cooling tower replacement work. Note that the new chillers, cooling towers and main electrical switchgear have been previously procured by the Owner (EWU) and will be installed by the project Contractor, as Owner Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment, under this contract If you have questions, please contact us at constructionplanning@ewu.edu or call (509) 359-6746 Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE and 5% Washington Small Business, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project.
