Site work for a fitness / recreation center in Spokane, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a 56,857-square-foot, two-story above grade fitness / recreation center.
The construction cost estimate is approximately $3M. A. Work Included: Provide all material, labor, equipment, design and services necessary to perform the installation and modification of the fire sprinkler system as shown on the drawings and as described herein. This is a bidder-designed installation as guided by the drawings and this specification. A pre-bid walk through is required. B. Summary of Work: This installation will consist of hydraulically calculated wet and dry sprinkler systems protecting the entire building and bus wash canopy. C. Design densities shall be in accordance with NFPA 13 and the following: 1. Classrooms, Exam Rooms, Clinic, Conference Room and Hallways shall be designed for light hazard density. 2. All other areas shall be designed in accordance with NFPA 13. D. Contractor shall determine water flow and pressure available. A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following 1. Addition of two early learning classrooms and a wellness clinic to an existing elementary school building; site work; and other Work related thereto as designated on the Contract Documents. This Work will take place on an existing site currently in use and occupied by the Owner as an elementary school. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract.
