The Vendor shall be responsible for furnishing and delivery to the HCS requesting Departments(s) the commodity or services described herein on an "as-needed basis" for one (1) two-year (2)period. Upon mutual written agreement of both parties, the parties may renew the Agreement, in whole or in part, for a renewal term or terms not to exceed the initial Agreement term of two (2) years. The increments of renewal shall be at the sole discretion of HCS as deemed in its best interest. For any construction Project Total that is equal to or exceeds $100,000.00, Vendor shall provide a Performance & Payment Bond meeting the HCS requirements for 100% of the Project Total from a surety company authorized to do business in the state of Tennessee or other form satisfactory to HCS. Fees/costs associated with procuring any bonding shall be at the sole expense of the Vendor and such shall be covered by the Project Total provided by Vendor for the associated Project. Hamilton County Schools (HCS) seeks to contract with a qualified, experienced, and professional Vendor to provide services to repair, sand, paint, and refinish athletic / gym floors within the Hamilton County School system. Initially, the floor will be properly cleaned and abraded using 80 and 100 grit sandscreen discs. Following this screening process all dust will be removed and, if required, the game lines, lettering and logos will then be repainted. Following the painting, two coats of gym finish will be applied. (Finish to match existing in each facility.) The finish will be properly abraded between coats to facilitate inter-coat adhesion. The work to be performed includes the screening of the floor using 80 and 100 grit sandscreen discs, potential repainting of existing game lines, logos and lettering and applying two coats of gym floor finish to the entire floor surface. Game line paint Compatible with finish manufacturer.
