Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Dayton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Additional area was added for demolition that is said to contain old foundations and pavement. Also, a portion of the retaining wall in this areas was changed from protect to removal. This sheet was added to show SWPPP controls, rough grading, and seeding/stabilization measures. The following modifications to the Bidding and Contract Documents for referenced Project dated March 29, 2023, shall hereby be incorporated into the Work described, and their effect on the bidding shall be reflected in the Bidder's Bid. Bidder shall verify receipt of Addendum on Form of Proposal. Bidder is cautioned to read entire Addendum, as a definite order does not necessarily follow, and to check that all pages of Addendum have been included in Bidder's copy of Addendum. Each Bidder is responsible for distribution of information conveyed by this Addendum to its sub-bidders and suppliers Hazardous Materials: Geotechnology's Pre-Demolition Asbestos and Regulated (Hazardous) Materials Surveys (dated 3/22/23) is bound into this Project Manual for reference only. A separate bid package for abatement will be solicited and contracted directly by the owner. Additional area was added for demolition that is said to contain old foundations and pavement.
