As of January 8, 2024, the project has been awarded, however, information regarding the awarded contractor and a timeline for construction have not been confirmed at this time. The project consists of two phases. Phase IB consists of constructing an Operations Garage with vehicle and storage bays, an employee area with locker rooms, and a mezzanine for light storage. Phase II consists of demolishing and installing new existing exterior finishes and trim, rain gutters and spouts, and roofing of an existing office building on site and constructing a new concrete switchback ramp for accessible entrance at the front of the building and a concrete ramp into the rear of the building. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of North Wales Water Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of North Wales Water Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor must be paid to workmen employed on this project. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. The North Wales Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
