The Roofing Restoration Project of Lake Worth Community High School Campus includes the full replacement, recovery and coating of designated roofing assembly components as per design specifications and drawings Scope includes but is not limited to: Complete roof moisture survey and core cuts to determine the extent of entrapped moisture. Roof demolition and removal Temporary roof removals New Modified Bitumen Roofs New Modified Bitumen Recovery Roofs Roof Coating at Modified Bitumen Roofs New insulation and coverboard Include 200SF of wood decking in base bid quantities to replace damaged wood decking Seal exterior scupper plates/inserts/trim with urethane sealant. Metal Flashings - Fabricate and install 24GA SS flashings Install 16GA SS plate to attached roof termination bar New base flashing New primary and secondary drains and scuppers New secondary overflow drains and scuppers New granule surfaced walkpad system and with 2" drainage slot every 6' Remove all unused mechanical conduits and temporarily remove existing mounted conduits as required to install new roof components Remove and replace all metal copings Remove existing aluminized wall coating and install new roof flashing and terminate under new copings. Scrape and repaint existing roof hatches at roof coated areas Remove and replace existing roof hatches at roof replacement and roof recovery areas Install new ladder safety post at roof hatch locations where safety post does not exist Remove and replace existing gutters, downspouts and conductor boxes, to match existing. Install new concrete splash blocks on roof surface with additional ply of granule surfaced modified bitumen membrane below splash block Install new surface mounted railing at Facilities Maintained mechanical equipment and roof hatch areas located within ten feet of the roof edge where 42" parapet wall is not provided. Contractor shall be responsible for the repair or replacement, including but not limited to: all surfaces, building elements, fencing, utilities, onsite and offsite elements, sidewalks, grasses, plantings, irrigation and hardscape disturbed by and/or damaged by construction activities. Contractor to remove and/or modify chain link fencing, including adding gate(s) as required for site access. Openings in fence shall be secured at the end of each workday. Fencing to be restored to equal or better condition upon the completion of the work. The Guarantee shall be in the form of either a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check payable to The School District of Palm Beach County. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing for receipt of Bids for a period of 60 days. The Board or its designee reserves the right to waive minor technicalities and irregularities in all Bids.
