Description

Site work for a transportation facility in Golden, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The Town of Golden is seeking a qualified contractor to rehabilitate the existing airside pavements at the Golden Municipal Airport. The main work includes a pavement overlay of approximately 90 mm (40 mm levelling course and 50 mm top course) to Runway 14-32, and segments of Taxiways A and B up to the Hold Short Line, with localized pavement repairs to select areas prior to the overlay. It is estimated that 10% of the pavement area will require pavement crack repairs prior to the overlay. The remaining asphalt surface of Taxiway C intersecting with Runway 14-32 is to be removed and restored with topsoil and hydroseed.
