Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of 04/18/2023 Cost estimate: $307,140.40 sealed proposals will be received in the office of the City Clerk of the City of South Milwaukee for the public works improvement contract which will include Blake Avenue Asphalt Paving. Proposals must be placed in a sealed opaque envelope addressed to : "City Clerk, City of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin" and marked "Proposal for Blake Avenue Asphalt Paving". If the bid is sent by mail, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with the notation "Sealed Bid Enclosed" on the face thereof. The project includes asphalt paving from Blake Avenue (9th-5th) and asphalt patching at 6th Avenue & Columbia Avenue with the following items for work: Concrete Curb & Gutter (spot replacement) 700 L.F., Concrete Driveway Approach 80 S.Y., Concrete Sidewalk 750 S.F., Asphalt Pavement Milling 5,750 S.Y., Asphalt Milling (2") 350 S.Y., Asphalt Base Patching 20 TONS, Asphalt Surface 625 TONS, Asphalt Base 900 TONS, and quantities of unclassified excavation, base aggregate, and other items applicable to the above work is in the contract documents. The document set describes items and quantities for bid proposal. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded by the South Milwaukee Common Council on May 16, 2023. Utility work shall be completed by August 31, 2023 and this work by November 3, 2023, unless otherwise allowed by the Engineering Department.
