Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brooksville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
A. Certified Underground Utility and Excavation Contractors that are active in repaving of existing roads.This project consists of repairing existing failed asphalt/base in varying locations, milling 1- 1/4" of the existing asphalt, placing a 1-1/2" resurfacing course on an old county paved road. The work in the contract will be performed on roads identified in the construction plans in Hernando County, Florida. B. The scope of this project includes temporary striping, thermoplastic striping and sodding. Adherence to maintenance of traffic per the applicable FDOT and MUTCD indexes and chapters is also a requirement. C. If needed, the Vendor/Contractor shall provide a yard for parking, maintenance and storage of all equipment at no expense to the county. This area shall be restored to its original condition at the contractor's expense.
