The 2,070 m2 (22,285 sq ft) one-storey building. The site is currently owned by the Township of Montague and is the location of the existing Office Administration building, firehall, public works garage and salt storage. A new well will provide the water service to the building. Single phase power, propane gas, Bell telephone, and internet service are also located on this site. A new on-site septic system will be part of the project. Project also includes the demolition and removal of the existing Public Works Garage. The proposed post disaster building consists of 8 drive-through vehicle bays, storage mezzanine, training room, kitchen, and office area. Construction is scheduled to commence in summer 2024, pending funding availability. Award value is undisclosed.
