Calumet County, a tax-exempt municipal corporation under Wisconsin Statue 77.54(9a), will receive sealed bids for the Calumet County - Courthouse Interior Remodel Project. Faxed bids will not be accepted. The project consists of renovations to the Calumet County Courthouse The newly remodeled areas will include office space and amenities such as workspaces, conference and breakrooms on the first, second, and third floors. Completion date set for the end of 2023. Contractors are invited to bid on the Calumet County - Courthouse Interior Remodel, located at 206 Court Street Chilton, WI 53014 All questions regarding the project, plans, and specifications should be directed to Kueny Architects, Lee Anderson, lee@keunyarch.com, The project consists of: The renovations to its historical Courthouse located at 206 Court Street in Chilton, Wisconsin. The newly remodeled areas will include office space and amenities such as workspaces, conference and breakrooms on the first floor, second and third floors. Base Bid First Floor - Unit "B": Includes the recently vacated Sheriff's Office and Jail comprising approximately 14,000 square feet. 11,000 square feet is planned to be fully built out in this area including. o Planning & Zoning, shared with Land & Water (Approximately 4,350 square feet. o Medical Examiner (Approximately 1,400 square feet). o Information Technology (Approximately 2,270 square feet). First Floor - Unit "A" - Existing Clerk's Office The Clerk's Office needs a partial remodel of 1,200 square feet to accommodate a Veterans Service Office in addition to housing the Clerk's Office. The adjacent circulation hallways and lobby areas are to receive new finishes. First Floor - Unit "A" - Existing Treasurer's Office The Treasurer's Office remains in its existing space but requires approximately 1,000 square feet of remodeling. The adjacent circulation hallways and lobby areas are to receive new finishes. First Floor - Unit "A" - Existing Judge's Area The Judge's "open" office area requires more privacy. Approximately 1,150 square foot of remodeling is required to add hard and soft walls for the clerks, secretary, and judge. Second Floor - Unit "A" - Health & Human Services Reception Area The remodel and new finishes to the Health & Human Services Reception. The adjacent circulation hallways and lobby areas are to receive new finishes. Third Floor - Unit "A" - Administration Area Miscellaneous alterations to the recently remodeled space. Project Alternates Alternate #1 Training Room Area - First Floor - Unit "B" 1. Add to the base bid the full remodel of rooms 135a storage room, and 135 training room. Remodel to consist of demo sheets, architectural, finish, ceiling, and it plans. Alternate to also include all associated mechanical work. Work under base bid in alternate #1 area to include: 1. Hall 127a area as shown on the plan 2. Doors 134.1, 134.2, and 135.1. 3. Door 127a - if alternate #1 is accepted door 127a is to be deducted from the scope. Alternate #2 - Restroom B133 and B1334 1. Add to the base bid the full remodel of rooms 126a women's restroom, and 126b men's restroom. Remodel to consist of demo sheets, architectural, finish, ceiling, and it plans. Alternate to also include all associated mechanical work. Alternate #3 - Second Floor - Office Remodel 1. Add to the base bid the full remodel of rooms lobby 205, office 234a, office 234b, office 234c, and open office 234. Remodel to consist of demo sheets, architectural, finish, ceiling, and it plans. Alternate to also include all associated mechanical work. Alternate #4 - Add to Base Bid Chiller ADD to the base bid the work related the existing chillers.
