The City of Kingsland is soliciting a Request for Proposals to qualified construction contractors for the Building Roof Replacements at 4 locations within the City. Specifications for this project are included in this Request. It is important for the City to be able to procure bid proposals from qualified contractors who have the integrity and reliability that will assure good faith performance. The scope of work provided is intended to be restrictive and is presented as the representative of the type and quality of work sought. Vendors are encouraged to respond with the intent of the scope of work described herein. Workmanship employed in any construction, repair, or installation required by this proposal shall be of the highest quality and meet recognized standards within the respective trades, crafts, and of the skills employed. Unless otherwise specified by the City of Kingsland, the Proposer shall unconditionally guarantee workmanship for one (1) year on services. If, during the guarantee period, any defects occur which are due to the workmanship the contractor at his expense, shall repair services to the complete satisfaction of the City of Kingsland. These repairs or adjustments shall be made only at such time as will be designated by the City of Kingsland as being least detrimental to the operation of the City.
