General Requirements - Insurance Required - License Required - Local Service Required - Prevailing Wage Required Contact Information Steven Wagner 586-469-6134 steven.wagner@macombgov.org The Chapaton RTB Canal Rehabilitation Project includes the following major work items: - Site clearing, excavation, haul out, and installation of sheet pile to expand the Chapaton RTB Canal. - Installation of a 6-foot-high precast concrete screen wall. - Construction of a new canal gate structure with new control building and associated appurtenances. - Construction of a concrete bypass box culvert with slide gate and stop logs. - Furnish and installation of new weir gates, slide gates, valves, piping, and associated electrical and instrumentation. - Demolition of existing gate structure and control building. - New concrete screening structure at the Chapaton RTB outfall. - New flushing gates installed in the Chapaton RTB Basin easterly weir wall. - 9 Mile Road sewer separation and road replacement. - Site restoration and landscaping. CONTRACTOR shall submit plan to ENGINEER for approval, prior to beginning Work, for maintaining service of the existing gate structure and existing gate control building and Chapaton RTB and facilities in accordance with construction project constraints detailed in Part 3 - Execution - 3.01 Project Constraints.
