Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Ottumwa, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents. The Bidder will need to meet all requirements per Davis Bacon for federal requirements due to use of ESSERs funds. The Davis-Bacon Act of 1931 requires contractors and subcontractors working on federally funded jobs to pay their laborers wages and benefits no less than what others locally pay their workers for similar projects. This is called the "prevailing" wage. Lump-sum bids will be received for: All playground improvement projects The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities or irregularities allowed by law and to enter into such Contract or Contracts as may be deemed in the best interests of the Ottumwa Community School District.
