Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
This project consists of supplying material and erecting same to construct a ten-unit Thangar structure at Hopkinsville Christian County Airport. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form contained in the proposal. This bond must be from a Surety Company acceptable to the Hopkinsville Christian County Airport. Alternatively, bidders may provide a cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Hopkinsville Christian County Airport, for not less than 5 percent of the total amount of the bid. All bidders and their sub-contractors are required to be pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to be eligible to place a bid on this project. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 120 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractors must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, and sex or handicap status. If any person contemplating the submission of a bid for the proposed work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the plans, specifications or proposed Contract Documents, he should submit a written request for any interpretation thereof to: Harold R.
