The planned timeline for the Project is as follows: Steps Date Award June 6, 2023 Beginning of the roadworks November 1, 2023 Contractor Mobilization November 8, 2023 Provisional acceptance of the Work April 1, 2024 Final acceptance of the Work April 15, 2024 Furthermore, in accordance with clause 1.17 Guideline for the schedule for carrying out the mechanical work of the Mechanical Specification section 22 05 00, if the start date of the work cannot be respected because of the Contractor, its subcontractors or suppliers, the Owner reserves the right to postpone the start of work to a later date up to the end of the following year, without penalty and without incurring additional costs. The Owner reserves the right to modify the schedule proposed above without notice or penalty and without incurring additional costs. The Owner reserves the right to terminate the Contract if the Contractor fails to meet the schedule. Failure to participate in the information session and the visit cannot be used as an excuse or pretext for errors, omissions or irregularities on the part of a Bidder. Each Bidder is responsible for delegating a representative. A Bidder who does not attend the information session and visit understands and assumes that he will not have the information that could be given during these. Bid Guarantee The Bidder must provide with its Bid a Bid security corresponding to 10% percent of the value of the Bid. The bid security is made in the form of a surety bond issued by a Financial Institution and must comply with the requirements of Schedule 1 of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies , money order or certified check payable to from the School of Higher Technology. The Bid guarantee must be valid for a period of 45 days from the deadline for receipt of the Bids, the authorization of an officer of the Bidder is required for a longer period.
