Prior to paving, the contractor shall supply the Town with the following estimated quantities, unlesswaived by the Director of Public Works. 1. Estimated quantity of paving. 2. Estimated quantity of handwork. 3. Linear feet of curb to be replaced 4. Square yards of reclaiming or milling. Paving over Reclaimed Roads shall require the installation of a three-inch layer (after compaction) of bituminous concrete Class 4 Marshal Mix or S1 Superpave Binder Course. Milling - This item will be paid on a square yard basis. Most milling depths will typically be between 1 and 4 inches. Milling will be accomplished by utilizing a full-sized milling machine for milling roadways. The Town's standard lane width is 11-12 feet wide but, in some instances, it varies both larger and smaller. Paving Streets that have been Milled - This Item shall be paid for by the Ton, complete in place. Milled roads shall require a 0.05 gals per square yard application of tack coat before paving unless otherwise directed by the Town. Trackless tack may be substituted for standard tack coat if required by the Director of Public Works.
