Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ithaca, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.

OPRHP is seeking to solicit quotes for the Replacement of one existing air conditioning unit and one existing propane-fired furnace with a cold-climate air-source heat-pump system at the Parks Police Office and the Supply and Installation of two cold-climate air-source heat-pump systems at the Marina Office in Allan H. Treman State Marine Park, 805 Taughannock Boulevard, Ithaca, NY 14850, Tompkins County, New York. The contractor will be responsible for work indicated on the drawings and in the specifications, and miscellaneous work as required to provide complete, functional, and correctly operating systems, as follows: 1. Parks Police Office Heat Pump System: a. Shut down and removal of existing air conditioning unit and associated power, supply and return lines. b. Shut down and removal of existing propane furnace and associated fuel lines. c. Provide cold-climate air-source heat-pump unit, ducted air handler and associated supply/return and electrical/control lines in line-hide. Provide outdoor unit on a stand secured to existing concrete pad. Provide electrical connection at existing disconnect box. d. Provide air sealing of existing ceilings and walls. 2. Marina Office Heat Pump System: a. Provide two cold-climate air-source heat-pump units, indoor wall cabinet units and associated supply/return and electrical/control lines in line-hide. Provide outdoor units on stands secured to two concrete pads. Provide electrical connection at disconnect boxes provided by OPRHP. Provide controls that connect the heat-pump systems with the existing electric resistance heating system, so that the existing electric resistance heating system acts as a back-up when the heat-pump systems cannot meet the heating load. The work under this RFQ has been determined to be a public work pursuant to Article 8 (Construction) / 9 (Building Services in excess of $1,500) of the New York Labor Law which requires prevailing wages to be paid. The PRC # for this RFQ is: 2023004140. The completion date for this project is 60 Days after PO has been approved by the NYS Comptroller's Office.
