The Project consists of REPLACING approximately 1,650 linear feet of 3 inch and 6 inch water line with 8 inch C900 Water Line, as well as reconnecting existing meters in the distribution system. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Sealed proposals for the Contract shall be clearly marked on the outside of the container as follows: "Sealed proposal for Jessamine County Water District No. 1 Meade Court Water Line Upgrade Not to be opened until 10:30 AM Local Time, May 3, 2023" The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is HMB Professional Engineers, Inc., 3 HMB Circle, Frankfort, KY 40601. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the following places: Jessamine County Water District No. 1, 2225 Lexington Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356 HMB Professional Engineers, Inc., 3 HMB Circle, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601 Time allowed for completion is 60 consecutive calendar days. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the proposal must be enclosed in another envelope and mailed to the Jessamine County Water District No. 1, 2225 Lexington Road, Nicholasville, KY 40356 allowing sufficient time for such mailing to reach this address prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Jessamine County Water District No. 1 in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date bids are opened. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order Nos. 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must COMPLY WITH Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, Section 3 Segregated Facilities, Section 109 and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act.
