The solicitation will not be provided in the eVA system, only in the City's Vendor Self Service System. The City has issued this RFP for the sole purpose and intent to obtain Proposals from those vendors that are certified through The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), licensed and experienced inspection providers of passenger elevators, freight elevators, escalators, chairlifts, platform lifts, dumbwaiters, personnel and material hoist ways, conveyors, moving walkways, machine-room-less elevators (MRLs), and other vertical lift transportation equipment in accordance with the Safety Code for Elevators, current edition American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as adopted by the current edition of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (VUSBC).
