Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of August 17 2023, project was awarded to JL Construction Corp.. but awarded amount is not available.** The Project consists of: Concrete ramps, concrete walkway paving, metal railing, tree removal, bituminous concrete parking paving, bituminous concrete curbs, loam and seeding, and drainage improvements The work is estimated to cost: $360,000.00 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30, 39m, Federal Regulation 2 CFR Part 200, and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive and to Federal Davis Bacon wage determinations. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u). There are no filed sub-bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to the Springfield Housing Authority This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general bidders and for one set for sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the Awarding Authority. Additional sets may be purchased for $50.00. Bidders requesting Bid Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $40.00 per set for UPS Ground delivery or $65.00 for UPS Overnight delivery, payable to BidDocs Online Inc. to cover mail handling costs.
