Addition to a theater / auditorium in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the addition of a 3,097-square-foot theater / auditorium.
This project includes a storm shelter within the classroom addition to the existing Concert Hall for Ponca City Public Schools. Bid Package 4: Masonry Bid Package 7C: EIFS Bid Package 4: Masonry Scope of Work Provide labor, material and equipment necessary for the above. Work shall also include, but not limited to the following: 1. Provide submittal information and mock-ups as required. 2. CMU partitions, including concrete fill. 3. Provide for a minimum of (3) mobilization to complete the scope of work. This is necessary to accommodate the sequencing of concrete work. 4. Installation of steel door frames in masonry partitions. Frames provided by Others. 5. Includes installation of grout around steel beams in CMU pockets per detail 6/S5.04. 6. All reinforcing, mortar, grout, control joint gasketing, cavity flashing, sealers and masonry accessories. 7. Installation of steel plates and steel embedded items as shown. Steel plates/embeds to be provided by others. 8. Scaffolding and/or equipment necessary for masonry scope work to be included in this bid. 9. Work shall be performed in accordance to OSHA regulations. Crew must include a competent person as defined by OSHA. Construction Manager will conduct weekly toolbox safety meetings, which all personnel working on site must attend. 10. Bidder shall be required to protect installed materials and adjacent materials from damage caused by bidder's work. 11. Bids in excess of $50,000.00 must include a bid security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check for 5% of the bid. 12. Bids of $50,000.00 or above must include the cost for performance, payment and warranty bonds. 13. Preliminary construction schedule included for review by all bidders. Mobilization and re-mobilization required for schedule compliance. 14. Successful bidders shall be required to provide proof of insurance coverage as per item 13 of the Subcontract Agreement included herein. 15. Regular jobsite cleaning shall be required of all contractors. Construction Manager shall provide a dumpster at the site. 16. Use of tobacco products is prohibited at the jobsite. 17. All successful bidders shall be required to sign a subcontract agreement with the Construction Manager. Sample copy of subcontract included herein. 18. All contractors with jobsite labor shall be required to submit a felony and sex offender affidavit. 19. Required testing services shall be by an independent third party company. This service shall be provided by the Construction Manager. Cost of replacement and re-testing shall be by bidder. 20. Bidder shall provide a breakdown of work tasks and durations for inclusion in the project schedule. 21. Invoices shall be similar to the AIA G702/703 format. Prior to work, successful bidders shall submit a schedule of values to the Construction Manager for approval. Bid Package 7C: EIFS Scope of Work Provide labor, material and equipment necessary for the above. Work shall also include, but not limited to the following: 1. Provide submittal information and mock-ups as required. 2. Installation of EIFS systems as illustrated on drawings. 3. Includes insulation, weather barrier, flashing, expansion control and joint sealant scope related to EIFS installation. 4. Work shall be performed in accordance to OSHA regulations.
