Construction of the Hickory Hill Park Shelter and Restrooms Project shall include: Replacement of the shelter and restroom located at the Conklin Lane entrance of Hickory Hill Park, as well as sidewalk and grading improvements. Late Start Date: May 29, 2023 Substantial Completion Date: November 30, 2023 Final Completion Date: April 30, 2024 Liquidated Damages: $500.00 per day The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities. Prospective bidders are advised that the City of Iowa City desires to employ minority contractors and subcontractors on City projects. A listing of minority contractors can be obtained from the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals at (515) 281-5796 and the Iowa Department of Transportation Contracts Office at (515) 239-1422.
