NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) invites sealed bids to provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary for RFB 8446 - 2023 Anatolia and Walnut Grove Chemical Grouting Project. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $210,000. In accordance with the Contractors' Licenses Law; Business and Professional Code of the State of California, Bidder must have: 1) Class C42 Sanitation System Contractor 2) Class C36 Plumbing Contractor 3) Class A General Engineering Contractor (if work involves alteration, demolition, or installation in Right of Way) Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Compliance A. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. B. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. C. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bid bond/deposit not less than ten percent of the aggregate total bid is required to be submitted with the sealed bid. To lessen the I/I in the area, SacSewer proposes to: o Test and seal all failing joints in each main lines (ML) and lower lateral (LL) with acrylamide chemical grout o Inject the voids in the manholes (MH) with polyurethane chemical grout The project includes: o Approximately 1,200 linear feet of ML 6" in diameter o 35 LLs o 55 MH ranging in depth from 5' to 14' Project Description The work to be completed in this project includes, but is not limited to, ML and LL cleaning, joint testing, joint chemical grouting, MH chemical grouting, and pre and post Closed Circuit Television inspection. All ML, LL, and MH locations are within the roadway/right-of-way, which requires traffic control. The following map shows the project areas within Sacramento County.
