Contractor shall provide Janitorial Services and Carpet Cleaning Services as specified in Attachment A, Specifications, at the North Central Human Service Center and Vocational Rehabilitation. Contractor must provide all consumable supplies and equipment to fulfill contract specifications. State will provide toilet paper, trash can liners, garbage bags, hand soap, and light bulbs for use by State. Contractor must notify State when supplies have reached re-order level. Contractor shall begin services by 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, to ensure compliance with janitorial requirements for controlled access areas. Bidders are encouraged to attend an optional walk-through to be held on April 25, 2023, at 11am CT at the North Central Human Service Center building located at 1015 S. Broadway, Suite 18, Minot, ND 58701. Interested bidders will be provided with an overview of the services needed. After the meeting, interested bidders will be able to tour the building to obtain first-hand knowledge of the services to be performed, to review existing conditions, and to obtain independent measurements and observations, prior to submitting a Bid Response. No other observation of the building will be provided for this project. A staff supervisor should be located locally in order to provide supervision to staff, answer questions, and act as a point of contact for any scheduling issues that require notification to the State. Designated staff supervisor will be required to attend quarterly meetings as a means to proactively exchange information to ensure satisfactory service and monitor contract performance.
