Site work and renovation of a civil project in Jacksonville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work shall generally consist of: Replacement of the existing Headworks system. The proposed new headworks will be constructed on green space to allow for ease of transition between new and existing systems at startup. The Headworks will include an influent diversion structure, coarse screens, submersible pumps, fine screens, stacked tray grit removal system, grit classifier and dewatering unit. The project will also include underground piping modifications and rerouting of the 24" and 30" influent sewer lines, manholes, some small diameter lines, new connecting structures and valve vaults, existing Primary pump station modifications, demolition of the existing grit basin, other selective demolition and bypass pumping. All questions of a technical nature regarding the project will only be answered in writing by Addendum.
