This solicitation is for an annual contract for painting and waterproofing services to various Broward County Government buildings and correctional facilities. Work consists of all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to affect painting and waterproofing maintenance and repairs. Painting and Waterproofing Services throughout Broward County will vary in size and location and will be assigned under the contract on an as-needed basis. Goal Participation: This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. Basis of Award: Refer to Special Instructions to Vendors. Workforce One Investment Program applies to this contract. Refer to Workforce Investment Program Requirements section for additional information. Bid Allowance Amounts: This solicitation includes pass-thru allowances in the amount of $25,000. It is not necessary to add your allowance amounts into your bid prices. Periscope S2G will automatically add the allowance amounts indicated to your bid total and will be reflected on the final bid tabulation. County/State License Requirements: In order to be considered a responsive and responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions to Vendors for requirements). Bid Guaranty: Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). Ownership Disclosure Requirements: As a matter of Vendor responsibility, Vendor must submit a completed Ownership Disclosure Form (refer to Special Instructions to Vendor for additional information). Note to Vendors: If choosing "Download Bid Packet", the packet will not automatically include the following attachments: Specifications and Requirements, and Drawings. Questions and Answers: The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. It is the Vendor's sole responsibility to assure its response is submitted and received through Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government by the date and time specified in the solicitation. The County will not consider solicitation responses received by other means. Vendors are encouraged to submit their responses in advance of the due date and time specified in the solicitation document. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting the solicitation document through Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact Periscope S2G, Supplier-to-Government for technical assistance.
