Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Danville, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The sanitary sewer pumping station located in SE Ellsworth Park is in need of replacement due to age/condition. The sanitary sewer pump station is located near the east access to Ellsworth Park along the North Fork of the Vermilion River. The force main must also be replaced from the pump station to the east side of IL Rte. 1. A study is currently underway to assess the required sizing, location, and alternatives for this project. This project is included in the City of Danville's FY 2025-2029. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
