The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) currently has a requirement for a project to Remodel Dental Lab- Kerrville VA. 36C257-23-B-0042 PROJECT OVERVIEW The Kerrville VA Medical Center currently has a requirement to remodel the existing Dental Lab on the 2nd floor of Building 11 on the Kerrville VA campus, located at 3600 Memorial Boulevard, Kerrville, TX 78028. This project aims to update the Dental Lab to meet ADA, Life Safety Code requirements and VA guidelines and standards. Following the completion of this project, the remodeled space will be compliant with current VA guidelines and standards, and the finish and equipment upgrades will facilitate improved staff workflow and functionality in the delivery of dental services to the Veteran community. The total project area is approximately 350 square feet. LOCATION All Work will occur at the following location: U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Kerrville VA Medical Center campus, 3600 Memorial Blvd Kerrville, TX 78028. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The Government expects to award a task order and issue a notice to proceed upon task order award. The project requires the tasks to be completed within 180 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). CONTRACT TYPE This award is a firm fixed price contract. SCOPE OF WORK This document defines requirements for project number 671A4-21-178, Remodel Dental Lab , on the Kerrville VAMC Campus in the Kerrville VA Medical Center located at 3600 Memorial Blvd Kerrville, TX 78028. Contractor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, and construction services necessary to complete project number 671A4-21-178, Remodel Dental Lab as required by drawings and specifications. All necessary testing and commissioning are required. Reference attached construction documents and specifications. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Work must include, but is not limited to the following: Contractor must be solely responsible for providing all labor, materials, supplies, transportation, tools, equipment, supervision, and construction services necessary to complete project number 671A4-21-178, Remodel Dental Lab as required by drawings and specifications. Contractor s work and responsibility must include all necessary planning, scheduling, programming, administration, and management necessary to provide all construction and related services as required. Sub Contractor s shall conduct the work in strict accordance with the contract and all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, or directives. Sub Contractor s shall insure that all work provided meets, or exceeds the scope of work, the project plans, and the contract specifications. All costs must be included in the base bid including all incidental work and materials associated with the demolition, installation, and construction in the exterior and interior of the building must be included in the base bid. Contractor must be responsible for complying with all construction documents and applicable Department of Veterans Affairs Specifications as part of this project. Contractor must perform all work in accordance with the latest Uniform Building Code (UBC), National Electrical Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Associate (NFPA) standard, Uniform Federal Accessibility Standard (UFAS), VA Standards, and local facility requirements. In the event there is a conflict between any standards/codes, Specification, construction documents, and/or the Sow, the VA is the deciding authority and will determine which clause or provision will apply. All Work must take place with minimal disruption to adjacent workspaces and all work must be coordinated with the VA prior to any work being performed. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 M. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
