Site work for a municipal facility in Lancaster, New York. Working plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Installation of new inner and outer entrance doors Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid Bond in the sum of five percent of the amount of the Bid, satisfactory to and payable to the order of the OWNER. Bid Bonds shall be on the form bound in the Project Manual and shall be issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 5.1 of the General Conditions. The bid security of the Successful Bidder will be retained until such Bidder has executed the Agreement and furnished the required contract security, whereupon the bid security will be returned. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Agreement and furnish the required contract security within ten days of the Notice of o Award, OWNER may annul the Notice of Award and the bid security of that Bidder will be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages for such failure. The bid security of the three lowest Bidders may be retained by OWNER until the earlier of the seventh day (7th) after the execution of the Agreement by the Successful Bidder or the sixtieth day (60th) after the Bid opening. The bid security of the other Bidders will be returned within seven days of the Bid opening. OWNER reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder who does not pass any such evaluation to OWNER'S satisfaction.
