As of 05/10/2023 The start date of the project is flexible and based on there availability . The finished date is by the end of this summer (October). The proposed road is Hastings Street NE from 269th Ave NE (County 9) to 261st Ave NE (County 56), approximately 5,390 linear feet. The paving will be 22 feet wide, with 3.5 compacted inches done in two lifts, & tack coat in-between Contractor will provide shape and go grading along with traffic control. The bituminous pavement shall be in compliance with 2018 MnDOT Standard Specifications for Construction, Section 2360 with a mix design of SPNWB330B for the first lift and SPWEA330B for the second lift. Quantity estimates include 3120 tons of Bituminous and 450 tons of CL-5 shouldering. The project will entail minimal sub-surface preparation. Shouldering shall be 24 inches wide (both side), sprayed with emulsion to prevent erosion & weeds. Paving shall match existing finished driveways. Paving shall be bumped out for mailboxes. A 50-foot apron (20' wide w/radii) shall extend onto 265th Ave NE [East from Hastings] The Athens Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes and in the interest of the Township All sealed quotes must include a Certificate of Insurance (for liability and workers compensation), a $5,000.00 bond,
