The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications. Estimated quantities for the various sites are summarized as follows: Estimated Quantity Base Bid Item 1 Bonding, Mobilization, HASP and Project Initiation 1 LS 2 Mechanical / Plumbing (Select Demolition and New Construction) 1 LS 3 Electrical 1 LS 4 ADA Compliance 1 LS 5 Floor Improvements - Performance Hall (Carpeting / Painting) 1 LS 6 Stage Floor - Refurbishment and Repair 1 LS 7 Seating (206 Fixed Seats, Installed) 1 LS 8 Sound System & Stage Lighting (Installed) 1 LS 9 Stage Curtain (Installed) 1 LS 10 Paint Walls within Performance Hall and Stage 1 LS Plans, Specifications, and forms of bid for the proposed work prepared by Pennoni Associates, Municipal Engineer, and approved by the Township of Willingboro have been filed in the office of said ENGINEER, at 515 Grove Street, Suite 1B, Haddon Heights, New Jersey 08035, and may be inspected by prospective bidders during regular business hours. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein, providing three (3) complete bid document packets, one (1) original and two (2) copies, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to Willingboro Township, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashiers Check drawn to the order of Willingboro Township for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractors Performance Bond. The Township will not assume responsibility for bids mailed in. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders, who, in the judgment of the Township of Willingboro makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
