Manitoba Hydro intends to post to seek competitive proposals for the supply and delivery of one (1) Dry Type station service transformers, to be in service before winter 2024 - this is a onetime purchase. Manitoba Hydro requires a dry type transformer 1.5/2MVA @ 2.4 KV / 0.6 KV, 60Hz, to be installed indoors. The freight elevator that we will be using to move the new transformer in place has a maximum capacity of 10,000 lbs., approximately 8' wide, 8' tall, and about 5' of useable depth with the door closed. So we need the new fully assemble transformer (with the enclosure) to fit in the freight elevator. Tentative RFP Scheduling Dates: RFP Posting - End of April 2023 Contract Award - End of May 2023
