It is the Owner's intent to award each Bid Item for the project to lowest responsive Bid. The Responsible Contractor submitting the lowest responsive Bid Item Price shall perform work consisting of concrete sidewalks, tennis courts, crack seal, fog seal, reclamation, and re-striping to parking lots, drives and pathways at multiple sites throughout the District. As of May 17, 2023, the project has been awarded. Construction is slated to begin June 2023. GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Supply all labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, and tools necessary for the entire proper completion of this work; install, maintain, and remove all equipment for the proper execution of this Contract; be responsible for the safe, proper and lawful performance of equipment, maintenance and use of the same; and perform in the best manner, and everything properly incidental thereto, as stated in the Contract Documents or reasonably implied therein. The extent of the Project Description is indicated in the Contract Documents and by the requirements contained therein. E. The Contractor is advised that the facilities will be in use during the construction time frame. F. The Contractor is to minimize any disruption to the use of the facility during the construction time frame. G. The Contractor is responsible for all necessary temporary traffic control devices and shall erect and maintain any signage, barricades, cones, or other methods as directed by the Owner. H. Within parking lots being seal-coated, reclaimed, reconstructed, etc., it is the intent of these documents that the Contractor shall comply with the most current Minnesota Accessibility Code and most current OSHA required safety procedures. I. Contractor shall paint all light pole bases within the lots (including grass islands), paint all accessible routes between parking spaces and access aisles, and paint all curbs which are currently painted to match existing including existing safety lines.
