EDD FIRE ALARM AND SECURITY ALARM REPLACEMENT PROJECT 003886 DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES OFFICE OF BUSINESS AND ACQUISTION SERVICES 707 3RD STREET, MS 508, WEST SACRAMENTO, CA 95605. Project comprises labor, material and services necessary for: Major components of Project Work consist of the replacement of the existing fire alarm and security alarm with new alarm systems. License required to bid the Project: A, B or C-16. Refer to Document 00 22 00, Supplementary Instructions to Bidders, Subparagraph 2.1.3, regarding performance of work of a Fire Protection specialty contractor license classification C-16 Health and Safety Provisions: Contractor and all subcontractors shall abide by all health and safety mandates issued by federal, state, and local governments and/or public health officers as well as those issued by DGS, and worksite specific mandates. If multiple mandates exist, the Contractor and subcontractors shall abide by the most restrictive mandate. The term employee, worker, state worker or state employee in health and safety mandates includes contractor and subcontractor personnel. Costs associated with adhering to health and safety mandates are the responsibility of the Contractor. Contractor is responsible for the tracking and compliance of health and safety mandates and may be audited upon request. Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Security Clearance: Bidders shall be escorted by an EDD representative throughout the pre-bid site inspection. Photographs are not allowed to be taken in the staff work areas or in areas that contain staff work and/or program information. Contractor/subcontractor shall request approval from the EDD representative attending the pre-bid site inspection prior to taking any photographs. States estimated cost: $733,400. The term of this project is 280 calendar days. 1. REPLACING EXISTING FIRE ALARM AND SECURITY ALARM SYSTEM ONLY.
