The Project consists of chip sealing 57 blocks of city streets in Scotland, SD. Est. Completion Date: Sept. 1, 2023 McLaury Engineering shall, upon request, furnish one copy of the Contract Documents, without charge, to each contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to bid upon the project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Pursuant to State Law, a copy of the bidder's sales and use tax license and a copy of the bidder's excise tax license as issued by the State of South Dakota must accompany the bid. In lieu of a copy of the license, the bidder shall submit appropriate evidence that the bidder and all affiliates have the appropriate licenses. The City of Scotland reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. 7.02 Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents
