Site work, renovation and addition to an office development in Cumberland, Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a office development; for the renovation of a office development; and for site work for a office development.
The project generally consists of a 2,862 square foot addition to the existing office building and related renovations within the existing structure. The Contract will be awarded on a lump sum basis. Bid security is required to be submitted with each Bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid. Bid security may be in the form of a certified check or a Bid Bond secured by a surety company. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount will be required on this project. The Contractor shall also provide Liability Insurance coverage for the value of this contract. value of all construction, removal, repair, or improvements undertaken by the bidder within any twelve-month period is seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) or more, the bidder is required under Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia (1950) as amended, to show evidence of being licensed as a "Class A Contractor." If a contract is seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) or more but less than one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000), the bidder is required to show evidence of being licensed as a "Class B Contractor." The bidder shall place on the outside of the envelope containing the bid and shall place in the bid over his signature whichever of the following notations is appropriate
