OUR DOSSIER: 21-2003 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Replacement of aqueduct pipes by drilling and open trenches as well as a connection under pressure to the existing aqueduct network in order to provide better service to industries and residents of the area. The Municipality/Town of Saint-Bruno is requesting tenders for the work described above. Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the inscription Replacement of a drinking water main on Melançon road and 6th row in the municipality of St-Bruno and the tenderer must be clearly identified therein. The plans and specifications as well as the tender form can only be obtained from the electronic tendering system Tenders must be accompanied by either a tender bond or a certified check established at 10% of the amount of the work, valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening of tenders, made payable to the Municipality of St-Bruno. The tenderer must take this obligation into account when having the documents in question completed by others. Only bonds issued by companies holding an insurer's license in Canada will be accepted under the terms of the call for tenders document. Only tenders submitted by contractors who have ordered the tender documents in the same name as that under which they tender will be considered. In the case of a consortium, this requirement is considered satisfied when each of the parties has obtained the said documents.
