The project consists of replacing a 6-inch combined water service from curb box to meter vault. Fire protection and domestic water services shall be replaced inside of meter pit, including all piping, valves, specialties, etc. Replacement of services shall be coordinated with water authority for any new requirements. New 6-inche fire and 6-inch domestic water piping shall be provided downstream of the meter pit. Fire piping shall connect into existing entrances serving the school building. A new entrance into the building shall be provided for the domestic water. Excavating, trenching and backfilling shall be provided, as necessary, for installation of all new piping. Project shall include replacing sections of existing paving at driveway and parking lot where new pipe is installed. Work shall occur over the summer and shall be completed by August 2023. Project Description: Water Line Replacement Project from curb box to the building, including replacing existing appurtenances with new Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Each Bidder shall be prepared, if so requested, to present evidence ofthe Bidder's experience, qualifications and financial ability to carry out the work specified.
