TriMet is soliciting sealed bids from qualified firms forfor construction services for a new security fence at TriMet's ATP facility located at 3618 SE 92nd Ave. Portland, OR 97266. The project is planned to replace approximately 660 feet of the existing security fence on the west side with a new fence as shown on the Site Plan, Figure 1. The security fence is located on top of an existing berm with a sloping ground that ranges from 4H:1V (Horizontal to Vertical) to 2H:1V.2.3. The new fence requires new fence posts, which will be founded in concrete-filled drilled holes.The fence will be 8 feet tall with a chain link fabric mounted on steel posts at 8 feet spacing on center. The steel posts will be 4-inch diameter pipes with a 0.237-inch wall thickness. The foundations for the fence posts will be 18- to 24-inch diameter concrete-filled drilled holes or piers with a minimum embedment depth of 5 feet. The security fence shall be constructed in full accordance with the plans and drawings that are attached as Exhibit B and incorporated by reference into the ITB. They represent fencing parts, dimensions, and placement.
