Services Being Procured: As part of the City's ongoing initiatives to meet the requirements of the Second Amended Consent Decree (SACD), the City has planned the Eastside Peachtree Sewer Improvements - Project 2B to meet the performance criteria in the First/Second Amended Decree. Those criteria include increasing the capacity of the sanitary sewer system to convey additional flow resulting from a 2-year, 3-hour design storm event without sanitary sewer overflows (SSO's). The proposed improvements in this project include replacement of capacity-limited segments of the eastside Peachtree Creek Basin Outfall and Trunk sewers. The City intends to implement improvements using a Design/Build delivery method (DB) as described in the Agreement. Any failure to fully investigate the job requirements shall not relieve any Proponent from the responsibility of evaluating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the Services properly.
