Renovation of a municipal facility in Fort Valley, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
A. Scope of demolition and removal work is shown on drawings. B. Scope of alterations work is indicated on drawings. C. The purpose of the project is to replace the existing cast iron boilers in the ACL and CTM buildings with new condensing boilers. D. The new boiler for the CTM building will be furnished by the FVSU and installed by the Contractor. E. In both buildings, existing heating water pumps and corresponding starters will be replaced with new pumps and variable frequency drives. F. In both buildings, upgrade existing BMS to support heating water system upgrades and new sequence of operations. G. Perform electrical work in support of demolition of existing HVAC and installation of new HVAC systems. H. Protect existing floors, finishes and building during the HVAC upgrades. I. Make other improvements as noted on the Drawings.
