A complete scope of work is attached. Please submit a detailed price breakout with a signed quote that should include, but not limited to, if applicable, the estimated labor hours and wage rate, material cost, equipment cost, subcontractor fee and overhead and profit rate. All work is to be performed at the Sioux City Federal Building, 320 6th Street, Sioux City, Iowa 51101-1000. The current wage determinations are attached. Offers to be valid for 60 days. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Clean all limestone on the West facade including limestone at all entrance areas. The West face the limestone shall be cleaned. The following directions shall be adopted as part of the work requirements: o Limestone sealer is not required and shall not be used. o The granite facing at the base of the facade shall not be cleaned. The Contractor is responsible for protecting, if necessary, granite base from chemical run-off. o Bronze and brass alloy spandrels, window trim, and accents shall be protected from chemical overspray and chemical run-off. Any non-limestone facade element, if affected by chemical cleaners utilized by the Contractor, shall be protected. o Work shall be performed only on the weekend days. o Site elements including painted handrails and granite paving shall be protected from chemical overspray and run-off if necessary. Bronze lanterns shall be protected.
