Starting in the spring of 2023, the City of Lafayette will be repaving: Glenside Drive, from Saint Mary's Road to Michael Lane Olympic Boulevard, from Reliez Station Road to the City limits As part of the Olympic Boulevard work, the existing pathway on the south side will be reconstructed to a minimum width of 6 feet where possible. On Glenside Drive, the existing pedestrian pathway on both sides of the street will be reconstructed and, in some cases, realigned to provide for a minimum 6-foot-wide pathway. construction of City of Lafayette, 2023 Paving Project, Project No. 014-9736, including, but not limited to: mobilization; traffic control and construction signage; potholing utilities; clearing and grubbing including tree protection, and trimming; providing licensed arborist; removal and disposal of trees, asphalt concrete pavement and subgrade, concrete and asphalt curb, gutter, flatwork, and striping, markers and markings; removal and salvaging of existing wood fencing and re-installation of existing signs; construction of asphalt concrete overlays, inlays, crack sealing and roadway sections; construction of minor concrete structures, concrete and/or asphalt curb, gutter, driveways, pathways, storm drain facilities, traffic stripes, markers, and markings; protection and adjustment of utility covers and monuments; and all other miscellaneous work as shown on the Plans and as described in the Specifications to provide a complete project. The Engineer's cost estimate is $1,800,000.00.
