The specifications for the above project shall be applicable to this addendum and it shall be shown as received on the Bid form for this project. Remove and dispose of approximately 3,000 linear feet of asbestos containing caulking around concrete/gravel matrix areas located at the 2nd level and planters, as marked on the included addendum site maps. This shall be completed under NESHAP regulations. Pressure wash approximately 11,000 square feet of asbestos containing texture, utilizing amended water, on the exterior of the building, as marked on the included addendum site maps. This shall be completed under NESHAP regulations. The contractor shall build portable containments for the work area to contain any debris; contaminated water shall be collected and disposed of as asbestos waste. Under the scope of work forthe 10 linear feet of asbestos containing expansion joint caulking from the exterior; this item shall be increased to 40 linear feet and be removed from the 1st and 2nd floors of the building, as marked on the addendum site maps. Under the scope of work requiring the abatement contractor to remove 5 windows per day; this shall be reduced to a minimum of 3 windows per day to allow the window contractor time each day to install new units, per the City of Abilene*s updated request, Windows shall be removed in such a way that minimizes damage to the interior plaster.
