Site work for a pipeline in Greenville, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a pipeline.
As of May 26, 2023, this project is in the conceptual phase. An architect has not been selected. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to May 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Project will include the design of approximately 12,600 linear feet of 8" medium-density polyethylene natural gas distribution main that will run along NC 11 North from the intersection of MLK Jr. Hwy to Staton Mill Road. The proposed 8" natural gas main will extend along NC 903 N and Staton Mill Rd (SR1514) . The 8" natural gas main along NC 903 North will terminate east of the CSX Railroad right-of-way. The 8" natural gas main along SR1514 Staton Mill Road will parallel Station Mill Road and terminate east of the CSX Railroad right-of-way. The desire is to begin services on the Project after July 10, 2023 and construction following soon after design and permitting services are completed Engineer will provide all labor and materials required to produce comprehensive Construction Specifications and Special Provisions, as required, for the Project GUC reserves the right to reject all Qualifications or accept such Qualifications, as appears in its own best interest, and to waive technicalities or irregularities of any kind in the proposal. GUC is not obligated to accept the lowest cost proposal.
