Renovation of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The New York Network Contracting Office 2 has an requirement for MRI Fire Alarm System at the Brooklyn VAMC, 800 Poly Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11209. The Scope of Work is summarized below. Contractor shall inspect the site to their own satisfaction before submitting their final cost proposal. Contractor shall submit product specifications for all materials for approval by the VA COR prior to installation. The scope of work consists of additional actions necessary to bring the existing fire alarm system into compliance with current requirements. The work is located at Brooklyn VAMC, 800 Poly Place, Brooklyn, NY in the MRI Suite, Building 15 basement. All questions are due NLT 12/26/2023 at 3pm. Installation: The work shall include the following elements needed to complete the system: o Provide and Install One (1) Motorized Door Release Relay o Provide and Install Two (2) Manual Fire Alarm Pull Stations (one located in main reception area near desk; one located near side exit door) o Provide and Install Twenty (20) Area Smoke Detectors and bases o Provide and install two speaker strobes at designated locations. o Provide and install all wiring, conduit and appurtenances to complete installation and integrate with existing system components.
