As of May 19, 2023, no bids received for this project. No definite date for the rebid. Ector County is requesting Bids from qualified Bidders to furnish and provide for Rumble Strips
for Cottonwood Road, in accordance with the requirements specified herein and including all
provisions set forth in the accompanying documentation. 1.1 Purpose: The purpose of these specifications is to provide sufficient information to allow
Bidders the opportunity to submit a Bid on the requirements for Rumble Strips for Cottonwood
Road. 1.2 Contacts: Any technical questions concerning the project specifications and the design details
technical questions pertaining to material and product (project) delivery, and filed inspections
and oversight, technical questions concerning document preparation and contract provisions
and terms should be directed to Assistant Purchasing agent, Daniel Ruiz, phone number 432-
498-4020; Email; daniel.ruiz@ectorcountytx.gov. 1.3 Bid Instructions:
A. Submittals: Bidder shall submit One (1) Original and two (2) copies of the Bid.
Responses to the required information in the specifications shall be numbered to
correspond to the specific item being answered. Original Bids must be clearly marked
"ORIGINAL" and contain all original signatures. B. If Bidder does not wish to submit an offer at this time, but desires to remain on the list for
this Bid, please submit the "Non-Response Notification" from by the same time and at the
same location as stated above. Ector County is always very conscious and extremely
appreciative of the time and effort you must expend to submit an offer. We would
appreciate your indicating on the "Non-Response Notification" any requirements to the
Bid which may have influenced your decision to the "Non-Response Notification".
C. A complete Bid consists of the return of the Request for Bid (BID), signed by an authorized
official, attachments, certifications, enclosures herein, properly and legibly executed, and
responses to the technical section. D. It is understood that Ector County reserves the right to accept or reject any/or all Bids and
to waive any technicalities as it shall deem to be in the best interest of Ector County.
Receipt of any Bid shall under no circumstances obligate Ector County to accept the lowest
offer. E. Late Bids: Bids received in the Ector County Purchasing Office after submission deadline
shall be returned unopened and will be considered void and unacceptable. Ector County is
not responsible for lateness of mail, carrier, etc., and time/date stamp clock in the
Purchasing Office shall be the official time of receipt. Ector County will not be responsible
for unmarked Bids or Bids delivered to the wrong location. F. Deadline Extensions: Ector County reserves the right to make a judgement call to extend
