The City of Lewiston is issuing this Request For Proposals (RFP) for Development Assistance for a Lewiston Public Library Capital Campaign to support the Children's Department Renovations and Improvements. The Board of Trustees of the Lewiston Public Library is seeking professional development services to assist in conducting a successful capital campaign to renovate and improve the Children's section of the library. The Children's area has seen minimal capital investment since it occupied its current area in the expanded library over thirty years ago. Interested bidders must register with the Purchasing Agent either through direct response to the City's RFP solicitation at mryerson@lewistonmaine.gov or by contacting the Purchasing Agent Allen Ward at 207-513-3040 or award@lewistonmaine.gov to be added to the bidders list. The campaign goal is to raise approximately $400,000 toward physical improvements to the Children's area. The City of Lewiston has pledged $153,835 toward this goal and has challenged the library to raise the estimated $250,000 to $300,000 necessary to complete this project. The method has not been determined.
